There might be several possible reasons why Olymp Trade does not open. To help users who’ve faced this problem, we’ve decided to compile a list of the most common causes behind these errors, as well as quick solutions.
You Are Currently in a Country Which Prohibits Trading
So far, this is one of the main reasons why Olymp Trade does not open. Sadly, it is not something that we can quickly fix on our side. You see, different countries have different laws on online trading. Some allow it, some don’t care, and others straight up forbid trading. So in this case Olymp Trade is simply not available for you.
The best (and most legal) solution here will be to find a country or location where you will be able to trade to your hearts’ content. You can find the list of available countries on our site.
On our side of things, we always strive to add more countries to our platform. So, even if you can’t use our platform at the moment, you might be able to do so in the future.
We Are Doing Maintenance on the Platform
Sometimes, technical issues or big updates force us to close our platform for maintenance. It rarely lasts more than a few hours, so you can just take a rest during that time. After all, rest is important for keeping your focus and wits. Soon, you once again will be able to trade on our platform.
If something more serious happens that will require a longer time to fix, we will inform you via our social media channels, so keep an eye on them!
You Have Problems with the Internet Connection
This issue is probably the easiest one to notice. If you have problems with your Internet, then you won’t be able to open other sites as well as Olymp Trade. There might be different reasons behind that, from the issues with your modem/router to the failure on the provider’s end.
Once you’ve found out what is behind the problem, you can start to solve it. If the problem is on your end, then you can restart your modem/router and see if that fixes the issue. For the problem with your provider, you’ll just have to wait it out, sadly.
There Are Errors with the Mobile App
This one is harder to catch since it is less obvious (unless you’ve got an error message on your mobile device). A good way to check if the problem is with our mobile app is to try and access our platform through your PC or laptop. If Olymp Trade opens on other devices, then you’ve caught the problem and it’s time to resolve it.
First, try updating your mobile app. It might be something that we’ve already fixed in the new version. We update our mobile app (both Android and iOS versions) quite often.
If that doesn’t work, then you should contact our support team via email: firstname.lastname@example.org. Our specialists work 24/7 and will do their best to help you. Describe the problem, and they will fix it as fast as possible.
And that concludes our list of the most common reasons why Olymp Trade does not open. Of course, it is not an extensive list, though most other problems can be resolved by contacting our support. We always hope that you will neither face any of the described problems, but it is always good to be prepared.
Stay tuned for more articles, some technical, some not, but always useful. We regularly post news, materials, and updates on our blog, so keep an eye out! Peace!
